Welcome to Sage Massage and Wellness, please note:

  • The massage studio is located at 5845 Arbutus Avenue in Townsite. It has its own entrance on the corner of the building, on the ground floor near the top of the hill. Please note there is a step to enter the clinic.
  • If you have any troubles finding the studio, please call or text me at 604-789-4599.
  • Try to arrive no more than 5 minutes before your appointment time, as I do not have a waiting room.
  • If the door is locked, please wait in your car or outside if weather permits. If the door is locked, it is because I am still with a patient.
  • Prices listed do not include 5% GST.
  • A valid credit card is required on file to secure your appointment. This credit card will not be charged except in violation of the 24 hour cancellation policy, unless another option has been organized between the patient and therapist.
  • Direct billing is only offered for those with Pacific Blue Cross, Medavie Blue Cross, Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), and Veterans Affairs Canada (VAF). Please contact in advance to inquire about booking with an open ICBC claim.
  • Credit card, debit, e-transfer and cash are all accepted forms of payment.

Hannah de Bourcier

Hannah was born and raised in North Vancouver, BC. She wanted a career helping others and found massage therapy to be a perfect fit. She loves how it not only looks at the physical body, but how the mind and nervous system are interacting as a whole system.

She graduated with honours from the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy in 2019, and worked as an RMT in North Vancouver for two years before moving her practice up to Powell River in 2021. After working at Timber Massage and Wellness for 2 years, an opportunity presented itself that she could not resist. Hannah took an exciting step in her career to open up her own studio, and this is how Sage Massage and Wellness began!

Hannah has worked on a variety of symptoms and conditions including, but not limited to; pregnancy, TMJ dysfunction, headaches, sports injuries, tendonitis, and chronic back pain. She has a friendly personality, positive attitude, and enjoys connecting with each of her clients. Hannah understands that each person she treats is unique, and will research, improvise, and work hard to find relief for her clients’ symptoms. Whether you’re looking to work towards a particular goal, or simply need a moment to relax and calm the nervous system, Hannah is happy to provide a patient-centred treatment. A treatment with her typically includes modalities such as deep tissue techniques, joint mobilizations, and Swedish massage. She loves to add pampering to treatments with massage to the scalp, face, hands and feet.

In her spare time, Hannah enjoys the outdoors, working in her garden, creating art, and being active.
